Hiya Buddies!!!

We have faced this issue many times and very hard to guess it. Because there are no any ora errors or any specific error mentioned in error as shown below.

Error Page:

You have encountered an unexpected error. Please contact System Administrator of assistance.

We got the above error while we login to EBS and navigate to iprocurement home page -> Personalize Stack Layout -> Information Technology

There may be many cases that depends on environment to environment or situations. Here, we would like to share the solution which may be useful but advised please first check in your either Test or Dev environments.

Solution:-

First we need to Compile Flexfields through adadmin

Second, we need to Reload the Jar files through adadmin

Third, we need to Compile JSP pages through adadmin.

Here, you may face some Apache issue during starting or bring up the Services such as pid location was not correct in XML file.

For this fix we need to take backup of XML files and then correct the parameter of PID location, then run Autoconfig.

Now, you are good to test the issues. Hope this may useful.

   5.    Change Maintenance Mode
   6.    Exit AD Administration

        Compile/Reload Applications Database Entities
   ---------------------------------------------------
   1.    Compile APPS schema
   2.    Compile menu information
   3.    Compile flexfields
   4.    Reload JAR files to database
   5.    Return to Main Menu

Enter your choice [5] :

Here, please select one by one 3 and 4 option.

First select 3 option to Compile Flexfields then after completion you can select 4 options compete it.
